Helpful Tips for Your Costume
Female vampires like things elegant and dramatic. They like red, black,
velvet, and silk. If you have one, you can combine a red or black corset or bustier with a long, flowing skirt. Alternatively, you can put on an elegant black or dark red evening dress. Female vampires have long, curly hair worn up. Simply curl your hair with a curling iron and pin it up at the back of your head. Now put on your jewelry and get ready for makeup. -

How to apply vampire makeup:
-
Step 1: Primer
Now it’s time to apply the makeup. Vampires avoid the sun and drink blood—that’s the cliché. So you need a pale complexion, pointed teeth, and bite marks. For the modern vampire look, it’s best to apply the makeup subtly, as this looks more natural. For the nostalgic version, you can be more generous with the colors. Lightly cover the face, ears, and neck with white face paint from the makeup kit or a light foundation. Then accentuate the forehead, nose, cheekbones, chin, and collarbone with gray or black face paint or eyeshadow. You can also use an eyeliner pencil for this. Simply smudge it lightly. This gives the face more definition.
-
Step 2: Vampire Eyes
Apply dark circles around the eyes using black or dark brown face paint or eyeshadow. Accentuate the lips with dark red lipstick. Apply a little fake blood to the corners of the mouth. It looks especially eerie when the blood runs down from the corners of the mouth. Female vampires can also paint their fingernails red and add glitter to their eye makeup. A vampire without fangs is no vampire. Vampire fangs are available online or in the seasonal departments of large department stores shortly before Halloween. Attach the fangs according to the package instructions.
-
Step 3: Blood and Wounds
Finally, create two bite wounds on the neck. Use a black kohl pencil to draw two small dots on the neck at the appropriate distance. These are the tooth puncture wounds. Then shade around the wounds with eyeshadow in purple and red tones. Apply red lip gloss to the dots and pull it down the neck to represent dried blood residue. For a realistic look, use the latex vampire bite wound. Applying it takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes and requires fake blood, a narrow makeup brush, a makeup sponge, some baby powder, makeup matching the skin tone, and a hair dryer.
