Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Boruto: What’s what?

You may never have heard of Naruto and are now wondering what has your children so excited. We’ll give you an overview. In general, it is a story by the Japanese artist Masashi Kishimoto. Shippuden continues Naruto’s story after the first major hurdles. Two and a half years later, he returns to Konoha with his teacher Jiraiya. He has learned a lot during that time, but quite a bit has changed around him. His friends already hold higher ninja ranks than he does. One friend has even become the leader of his village. And the young hero is already facing the next major challenges—such as Akatsuki and an impending ninja war.

Boruto

After Naruto’s story has been told, the perspective shifts to the next generation—Naruto’s son Boruto. There is peace, and a modern era is developing. Boruto also follows the path of the ninja, just like his father. He, too, seeks attention and recognition, especially from his father, who has little time for his family as Hokage.
