Go into Battle in the Asterix Roman Costume

The Asterix Roman costume is an officially licensed costume modeled on the Roman uniforms from the Asterix comics. It consists of a robe with all the armor pieces sewn on. The golden breastplate at the front is stitched and padded to create a muscular look. The sleeves and lower part of the robe are green, while the hem is designed in black and white. The brown armor strips sewn onto the shoulders and the front above the skirt would be made of leather on an original Roman uniform; here, they are made of reinforced brown fabric.

Red Cape for the Asterix Roman Costume

The back of the costume is light brown and made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. It is covered by the red cape, which is fastened to the Asterix Roman costume on both sides with hook-and-loop fasteners.

The robe has a loose fit and is tied with the wide red fabric belt, which brings it in at the waist and adjusts it to the figure.

Roman Helmet for the Roman Costume

The golden Roman helmet is made of padded satin fabric, like the breastplate. It is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The neck guard should be folded outward so that the helmet fits securely. The golden cuffs are worn around the wrists. The Asterix Roman costume is completed by the white indoor toe sandals with their high ankle shaft. The fabric soles are fitted with non-slip studs. However, these shoes are not particularly suitable for outdoor street carnival celebrations. We recommend wearing your own outdoor shoes instead.

The red knee-length trousers are not included. However, you can easily wear a regular pair of your own trousers underneath.
